Just figured out there are no flat background tools and I really don’t like textured background tools :/ hoping if I paint it dark enough the texture wont be notieceable, and I’ll put a light stain over the wolves one I finish them so there is still detail.

Another piece Im working on. Much larger, and smeared with a stain I was testing out. I might deglaze it and pick a different stain all together or just go over it again when I finish tooling
